Engine Options
The all-new Niro EV model comes equipped with a 64.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. This expertly crafted battery produces 201 bhp and can reach up to 285 miles on a single charge. If you're looking for extra storage, this impressive electric car can tow up to 750Kg.
Whereas the Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid comes equipped with a 1.6 petrol engine as well as a 11.1 kWh battery. This 6 speed DCT automatic engine produces 180 bhp and offers up to 1,300Kg towing capacity.
Finally, the Hybrid Electric Niro comes with a 1.6GDi engine and a 1.32kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. The hybrid version matches the PHEV versions towing capacity but only produces 139 bhp.
Technology
The standard Niro comes fitted with a generous amount of technology. All three versions come equipped with a sleek infotainment system that is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Allowing you to take calls, listen to your favourite music, and get directions safely on the road. To further increase convivence the base model also comes with Steering Wheel Mounted Controls, Dual Temperature Control, & a Start/Stop Button.
The Niro also comes equipped with several driver assistance systems. These handy systems include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Hill-start Assist, Lane Follow Assist and much more. The top of the range '4' version boasts a variety of additional tech. Additional features include a Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist System, and a handy Head-Up Display.
Safety Features
To ensure passenger and safety, the All-New Niro is well equipped with an array of safety features. These features include a Side & Curtain Airbag, Impact Sensing Auto Door Unlocking, and a Alarm System.
