Chippenham Motor Company is delighted to announce that the all-new Niro has been named the ‘World's Best Car for 2023’ at the 2023 Women's World Car of the Year (WWCOTY).

After thorough testing of 59 candidates, the all-new Niro was declared supreme winner for 2023 and World Women’s Car of the Year, by the 63 awards judges from across 45 countries.

In prior heats leading to the outright win, the Niro was named as the ‘Best Urban Model’ by judges who said: “It’s spacious, practical, safe, easy to drive, with several eco-friendly powertrains available (HEV, PHEV and BEV) and very low fuel consumption.”

The all-new Niro has been designed from the ground up to meet and exceed the expectations of eco-minded consumers. An integral part of Kia’s growing eco-friendly model line-up, the next-generation Niro is available with a trio of electrified powertrains, Niro Hybrid, Niro PHEV and the fully electric Niro EV.

The second generation of the Niro has already won several awards, including a Golden Steering Wheel award for the category ‘Compact SUV’ and first place in the mass-market category in the J.D. Power 2022 Electric Vehicle Experience Ownership Study. The model was also shortlisted to win the 2023 World Car of the Year awards.
