Volvo Car UK introduces 0% interest payment plans from Bumper to help customers spread the cost of car maintenance and repairs

Careful budgeting is a key concern for UK households at present, with high inflation and rising prices across the board. Volvo Car UK is working with award-winning payment platform Bumper so its customers can spread the cost of keeping their cars in good working order by offering monthly payment plans – with 0% interest.

The scheme allows bills for regular servicing, repairs and parts to be settled through equal and affordable monthly payments over terms of between four and nine months. With no interest charged, customers can manage their money more cost-effectively. It also helps ensure that car safety and roadworthiness are not compromised by people skipping routine servicing, repairs and parts replacement to save money in the short term.

The interest-free plans also apply to accessories, making it easier for people to purchase larger-ticket items such as towbars, bike carriers and roof boxes.

The scheme, available at a growing number of Volvo retailers across the UK, allows customers to split costs from as little as £60 up to £5,000 into equal monthly payments.

Meanwhile, all Volvo workshops continue to provide a free repair service for punctured tyres and chipped windscreens. Damage is checked by a qualified Volvo technician and, where viable, a free repair will be carried out. In some cases, this can be done on the spot, so there is minimal delay in the customer being back on the road.

Steve Beattie, Volvo Car UK Head of Sales, said: “With household budgets under increasing pressure, these interest-free payment plans will give customers greater flexibility to easily manage their car costs without facing additional charges. Together with our free windscreen and tyre repair offer, it demonstrates our customer-first approach to providing helpful new services.”
