As briefly touch upon, the new Sportage comes bursting with an abundance of in-car features. From it's Front and Rear Parking Sensors to it's Steering Wheel Mounted Controls, the Sportage offer something for all passengers.

Engine Options

The Kia Sportage is available with a choice of three engines; Petrol, Hybrid, or Plug-in Hybrid. The standard petrol model comes fitted with a powerful 6-speed Manual 1.6 T-GDi (148 BHP) 2WD Petrol Engine. This efficient engine produces a top speed of 113 mph and reaches 60 mph in 9.9 seconds thanks to it's 250 Nm maximum torque.

Whereas the Sportage Hybrid comes equipped with a 1.6 T-GDi ISG HEV (226 bhp) 2WD Engine. The combination of the Petrol engine and electric battery allows the Sportage to achieve a maximum speed of 120 mph and reach 60 mph in 7.7 seconds.

Finally, the Sportage Plug-in Hybrid version is fitted with a 1.6 T-GDi ISG PHEV (261 bhp) AWD Engine. The state-of-the PHEV powertrain produces a top speed of 119 mph and a 0-60 mph of 7.9 seconds. Using a Type 2 AC Charger 7.2 kW charger the Sportage can be charged from 10% to 100% in just 1 hour and 45 minutes, allowing you to get back on the road.

As previously mentioned, this fantastic value SUV is well-equipped with the latest in-car technology as standard. The base model comes fitted with a sleek 4.2" Supervision Colour Cluster Display that supports both Android Auto™ & Apple CarPlay™ along with Voice Control. If you're after a larger display, the 3 and GT-Line come with a larger 12.3" Display. The standard Sportage is also equipped with a Reversing Camera System, a 6-speaker Audio System, and it also offers Bluetooth® Connectivity that allows Music Streaming.

To ensure driver and passenger safety, the new Kia Sportage is packed with a wide range of safety features. These features include a Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), and Lane Following Assist (LFA) to name a few. On top of these handy driver assistance systems, the Sportage also boasts a Twin Curtain Airbags, Twin Front Airbags, & Twin Side Airbags (Front) to keep you and your family safe in the event of a collision.
